As a Clinical Psychologist, I am guided by a professional code of conduct set out by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Psychotherapy is one of the most powerful means by which we can support the development and wellbeing of human beings in our community. The psychotherapy space allows for deep reflection, meaning making and transformation that makes a tangible difference to people’s quality of life. I am inspired by the extent to which humans are able to adapt to constraints, such as threats to physical health, cancer, pain, grief, loss and associated family/relational disruptions. I offer a conversational forum which supports this adaptation process by drawing on my core skills as a psychotherapist and Clinical Psychologist (I graduated from UWA in 2005), including compassion and mindfulness-based practices.

When it comes to working with a psychologist it is important to have choice and to find a therapy relationship that suits you. You might like to meet some of my esteemed cancer care colleagues…
